What are the price ranges you can expect to pay for a Las Vegas luxury home? And what will this price include?

For houses in the $500K - $1 million: Most of these houses will be located in gated communities. Lots could be in the range of around 9,000 to 10,000 square feet and have golf courses.

Houses in the $1 Million - $20 Million range are definitely located in master planned communities or on golf courses, with lakefront grounds, in gated communities or in any of the rising number of upscale cosmopolitan high-rise condos towering over the Las Vegas Strip. Magnificent views and landscapes are a guarantee. Inside the property, swimming pools and spas are the norm in most of these homes. Homes floor space would be as large as 16,500 to 17,000 sq ft. 3 & 4 car garages will be norm.

Here is a short list of some of the more famous communities which have luxury home properties.

Anthem - Communities in Anthem include Sun City Anthem and Sun City Aliante. The home environment is resort style, with a variety of clubs to suit your taste.

Canyon Gate - Golf course gated community located just a couple of miles east from Summerlin and about 6 miles from the Las Vegas strip. This is older, but well-kept, community.

Red Rock Country Club - is located in Summerlin near the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation. This guard-gated community has exceptional views of the mountainous landscapes of Red Rock Canyon. There are two Arnold Palmer Golf Courses within the Red Rock Country Club.

Spanish Hills - is one of the most luxurious Las Vegas custom home communities. Large home sites on winding streets offer a view of the "Strip" to the east or Red Rock Canyon to the east.
