After years of speculation surrounding one of the most widely anticipated developments in the Chicago market, the sales office at the Chicago Spire opened to great fanfare earlier this year.  The development already had at least 600 buyers lined up to snatch up the first units, and plans on marketing the development aggressively in Chicago as well as in many major cities around the world.

The future of the Chicago Spire was in doubt just over a year ago.  The developer was facing financial difficulty for the mega project, but Shelbourne Development stepped in to bring the project to the development phase.  The tower offers one of the most distinctive designs of any residential building in the world, and was designed by world-renowned architect Santiago Calatrava.

Buyers currently have their pick of the nearly 1,200 condominiums available at the Spire.  Units range from studios to luxurious penthouse condominiums.  Prices start at $750,000, and range up to an incredible $40 million for the top floor penthouse unit.

The sales center for the Chicago Spire is located in the 18th floor of the NBC Tower, at 455 North Cityfront Plaza Drive.  Interested buyers can discuss the opportunities currently available with the very helpful sales staff.
