Buyers can find some incredible deals in new condominium developments all over Las Vegas.  The city has seen its share of problems in the real estate market in recent months, but this means opportunity for buyers currently looking to enjoy great prices on prime real estate in the area.

South Valley Ranch is a popular condominium development located in Henderson.  This development is located at 833 Aspen Peak, close to many shops and restaurants.  Buyers on the market for an affordable condominium can find a number of units currently on the market at South Valley Ranch.

Prices keep coming down across Las Vegas for luxury condominiums.  Several developments around the city now offer prime real estate at less than $100 per square foot, an unthinkable price just a couple years ago.  One development that is currently offering incredible prices on condominiums is Buffalo Condominiums, located at 1150 N Buffalo Drive.

The most affordable condominiums currently on the market at Buffalo Condos are one-bedroom and one-bath units priced at $69,000.  There are two units that offer 722 square feet of living space that are listed at this price, which works out to $96 per square foot.  A couple of larger units that offer 825 square feet of living space are priced at just $69,900.  These condominiums are by far the best deal, with per-square-foot prices of just $85.

If you need some more space, there are several two-bedroom units also available at Buffalo Condos.  The most affordable unit is a two-bedroom and two-bath condominium that offers a total of 928 square feet of living space.  This condominium is priced at $99,850, or just $108 per square foot.

Sales center open for the Chicago Spire

Sales of the Chicago Spire kicked off earlier this year, with more than 800 buyers lining up to take their pick of the first units in the landmark building.  The Spire is currently under construction in downtown Chicago, and will be completed sometime in 2010, according to plans from the developer.

Shelbourne Development, a Dublin-based developer, is in charge of the project.  The company stepped in to buy the site from Fordham Companies in 2006 as the project faced doubts as to whether it could secure funding.  Shelbourne began construction before one unit was sold, a risk that many wonder will ever pay off.

The Chicago Spire will be the tallest residential building in the world, soaring 2,000 feet over the Chicago skyline.  The building will dethrone the soon to be completed Trump International Tower and Hotel as the highest building in Chicago.

Buyers can choose from a number of floor plans.  Studio units are priced from $750,000, putting this development out of reach of most buyers in the Chicago region.  The largest penthouse unit is priced at $40 million, making it the most expensive piece of residential real estate in the city.
