All new Golden Nugget
The two Golden Nugget casinos in Las Vegas and the Laughlin were purchased by a Houston based Landry’s Restaurants. The company that has more than 28 different restaurant brands is planning to take Golden Nugget brand into other markets. This 1,900-room casino will undergo a complete change by having a new hotel tower and additional casino space. Addition of two signature hotels of the company, to the casino will be the first priority of the company. The redevelopment plan will also have a 1,200-seat theatre, additional convention place and remodeled swimming pool.The company also has similar plans with the Golden Nugget Laughlin. This 300-room casino will also have hotel tower and company’s two-signature restaurant.
The Golden Nugget customers are expected to change base from high-end play to the high volume slot machine play. There are lots of new things coming up for these slot players, as casinos are no longer profitable.
