Las Vegas is considered as one of the top ranked areas in United States to retire. Multi-faceted retirement communities with extensive facilities for the senior retired citizens have come up here owing to the warm and dry climate, and absence of state income tax.
Sun city's Summerlin, Anthem, Siena, and Macdonald ranch are few of the age-restricted communities coming up in Las Vegas. These community villages have luxury single story homes as well as villas, golf courses, state-of-the-art health and fitness centers, tennis courts, and community centers. While in some age restricted community the golf course is owned by the owners of property on the development in others the golf course in not owned by the owners but they pay less green fees than the general public.
Many retired couples prefer buying the energy efficient homes because of savings involved in it. Most of these age restricted communities come with energy star label and use 30% less energy for cooling and heating than the other homes. All these advantages make age-restricted communities really attractive to the seniors.
