High rise luxury condos in downtown art district
A new luxury condo tower is being planned for
downtown, the latest in series of high-rise towers
planned for that part of town. This one is called
H.U.E Lofts at the Art Central and is located right in
the middle of downtown art district. With the $150
million performing arts center, the World Market
Center and the Alzheimer's Research Center, the Art
Central turning into the cultural and urban hub of the
Las Vegas valley.
There are several unique features about the H.U.E
lofts. For one they are being planned with 20-foot
ceiling heights, taking up two floors, so that
residents get two stories for the price of one
according to Haddad the owner of the project. Prices
range from $450,000 for an 800-square-foot unit to
$900,000 for a 1,200-square-foot unit.
Each of the 278 units in the towers will have a unique
view of the valley. The building features 27 corners
of articulated design, providing views of the valley
from different angles. The floor-to-ceiling windows
have been designed with shutters that deflect the
light away. The lobby and rooftop deck at H.U.E. will
feature rotating art exhibits and will highlight works
from local and regional artists and musicians.
