Centennial Plaza - Las Vegas newest shopping center cum residential development:

Great American Capital is developing Centennial Plaza, an 110,000-square-foot shopping center in the southeast corner of Centennial and Aliante parkways, a Las Vegas based developer.

Martin Harris the construction firm is engaged in the actual construction of the $10 million project. Martin-Harris is working on six projects for Great American Capital in Las Vegas alone.

The 20-acre site is a mixed-use development, a recent trend that has caught on in Las Vegas. It will have 65,000 square feet of lofts above the retail space. Great American Capital, which is the promoter of this project, is a subsidiary of the Great American Homes. They have been developing shopping centers, office buildings and apartments in Las Vegas for the last 15 years and have about 40 projects in the works. including some in California, Schwartz said.

Starbucks, Quizno's, Quarters and Sushimon, Purrfect Auto have all signed leases and will be occupying prime retail space in the Centennial Plaza when the project is completed.
